Early life

India’s Namchi, Sikkim, is where Rai was born. He is upheld by a games NGO, Olympic Gold Mission. Career

At the Asian Archery Championship 2003 in Yangon, Myanmar, at the age of 19, Rai made his international debut. On November 24, 2010, he won India’s first individual silver medal at the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. He had previously been a part of the Indian team that won a bronze medal at the 2006 15th Asian Games in Doha. He turned into an Olympian participating in the 2004 Summer Olympics, where he was set 32nd in the men’s singular positioning round with a 72-bolt score of 647.
