Early life
Bangalore is where Archana was born. She was born into a Karnataka family of doctors. Her parents, Girish and Anuradha Kamath are the two specialists, experts in ophthalmology. Kamath transformed region and state titles. She surprised everyone by winning the Under-18 and Under-12 titles at the state championships in 2011. Archana Kamath was originally chosen to represent India at the Commonwealth Games. However, after a recent meeting, the Committee of Administrators (COA) decided to remove her from the main team and replace her with Diya Chitale, who is currently ranked third in the country in women’s singles. Kamath current positioning in singles is 37th and because of this panel chose to supplant her name with Diya and the last endorsement of determination of every one of the four ladies’ players was given by Sports Authority of India(SAI) in view of current public rankings of individual players.
