The Kawasaki Z500 now has a larger 451cc engine. Despite the fact that the engine is derived from its predecessor, the stroke is 6.8 millimeters longer, and the bore has not changed. As a result, peak torque has increased by 5 Nm (43 Nm), and it is also generated earlier in the rev range—at 7500 rpm—than it was at 500 rpm. Although Kawasaki did not specify the horsepower, considering that this is the Ninja 500’s engine, we can assume that it will produce the same 51 bhp at 10,000 rpm.
Kawasaki Z500 Bike 2024
The appearance of the brand-new 2024 Kawasaki Z500 has changed significantly. This is primarily because of the new triple headlight design, which uses the lower central headlight for high beams and the two upper LED headlights for low beams. Additionally, the minimalistic side panels have been made even more prominent, giving the new Z bike a more muscular stance than before. The front mudguard has also been slightly updated.
Launch Date & Price
The Kawasaki Z500 is anticipated to go on sale in October 2024 & price Rs. 5.30 Lakh.

Suspension
A gas-charged monoshock with preload adjustment and a bottom-link, 41mm telescopic fork are included on the Kawasaki Z500. Along with dual-channel ABS, the bikes have a front disc brake of 310 millimeters and a rear disc brake of 220 millimeters. The bike is driven by radial tubeless tires with 110-section front and 150-section rear sections mounted on 17-inch wheels. The Z500 has a seat height of 785mm and a ground clearance of 145mm. It has a 14-liter fuel tank and a curb weight of 167 kilograms.

Design
The new Kawasaki Z500 borrows typical “Z” styling from the larger Z900 for its design. With a sculpted fuel tank, tank shrouds, and a small headlight setup, the motorcycle has a muscular appearance. The motorcycle has very little bodywork on its rear, and the split seats and side-slung exhaust complete the design. The Z500 has telescopic front forks, a monoshock in the back, alloy wheels on both ends, front and rear disc brakes, LED lighting, and a LCD or TFT dash, depending on the model.
Kawasaki Z500 Bike Key Specification
The motorcycle is powered by a brand-new 450cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 6-speed gearbox that produces 42Nm of torque and 45 bhp. The Z500 from Kawasaki lacks a quickshifter, and considering the company’s other motorcycles in this class, linear power delivery is expected.

Final Words
The Z500’s chassis remains largely unchanged, with a steel trellis frame, 17-inch wheels, a 41mm nonadjustable fork, and a preload-adjustable rear shock. However, the updated styling and other details better adhere to the Z family’s design language. With a crouching stance, a low front, and a new rear section with an upswept tail, the sharper, more aggressive style borrows elements from larger Z bikes.
