Kia Carens Car 2024 Launch Date, All Features & Specification

It is anticipated that the Kia Carens will keep the same engine options as the current model. This includes a 1.5-liter petrol with a naturally aspirated engine, a 1.5-liter diesel, and a 1.5-liter petrol with a turbocharger. The selection of transmissions, which include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed DCT, is likely to remain unchanged as well.

Kia Carens Car Features

The Carens will continue to have a sunroof with only one pane. It currently has a touchscreen infotainment system with a 10.25-inch screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, and electric second-row seats that fold down with a single touch. The Carens should keep the same engine options because it is a facelift. The new 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that is available on the Carens already has 158 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque. A 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with 113 bhp/144 Nm and a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 114 bhp/250 Nm will be available as additional engine options.

The facelifted Carens is expected to come with the same three engine options as the current model: a 1.5-liter petrol engine with 115 PS/144 Nm and a 6-speed manual, a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with 160 PS/253 Nm and a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic), and a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 116 PS/250 Nm and a 6-speed manual, iMT gearbox.

Torque

The 1.5-liter petrol,, 1.5-liter turbopetrol, and 1.5-liter diesel engines are available on the Kia Carens. A five-speed manual or CVT transmission is available for the 1.5-liter gasoline engine, which produces 113 bhp and 144 nm of torque. The 1.5-liter diesel engine is available with either a six-speed iMT, six-speed MT, or six-speed AT and produces 113 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. The 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine, on the other hand, has been replaced by the new 1.5-turbo-petrol engine.

LED Headlamps

With a wheelbase of 2,780 millimeters and a length of 4,540 millimeters, the Kia Carens is 170 millimeters longer than the Seltos. In terms of appearance, it has LED fog lamps, headlamps, rear lights, and daytime running lights. However, the silhouette of this seven-seat MPV has remained unchanged.

Interior
