With a seat height of 810 millimeters and a wheelbase of 1,400 millimeters, the Commando 961 Cafe Racer is a bike with a vintage look. It has adjustable Ohlins twin shock absorbers at the rear and an upside-down front fork with a diameter of 43 mm. The bike has a round headlamp and a short wind deflector at the front, giving it the look of a classic cafe racer. It has twin-pod instrument cluster and clip-on handlebars. There are knee recesses in the fuel tank, as well as two stainless steel exhausts and a curved tail section with an integrated tail light.

Engine
A 961cc parallel-twin motor with push-rod actuation and a 2-valve head powers the motorcycle. At 6,500 rpm, Norton UK claims 80 horsepower and 90 nm of torque. However, the India-spec brochure mentions a lower 71.9 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 67 Nm at higher 6,500 rpm. Fortunately, the bicycle’s components are of the highest quality, and it is equipped with 120/70 section front tires and 180/55 section rear tires.

The front of the 961 Cafe Racer is supported by a substantial Ohlins 43mm USD fork, and the rear is supported by Ohlins twin shocks with remote reservoirs. The front brakes are Brembo’s fully floating 320mm twin discs with a 4-piston caliper, and the rear brakes are a 220mm single disc unit with a 2-piston caliper. The fuel tank has a capacity of 17 liters, and the height is 810 millimeters. It comes equipped with twin Ohlins shock absorbers at the rear.
Torque
The Cafe Racer is powered by a 961cc parallel-twin motor that has a peak torque of 90Nm at 5200rpm and a power of 80 PS at 6500rpm. However, the power and torque ratings for the Indian model are lower: 72.8 PS at 7500 rpm and 67 Nm at 6500 rpm, respectively. 43mm Ohlins USD forks with adjustable preload, rebound damping, and compression handle the front suspension duties. At the front and back, 120/70 and 180/55 section tyres are mounted on the 17-inch aluminum spoke wheels.
