A brand-new set of clip-on handlebars for the café racer stance will be available on the Triumph Thruxton 400. The café racer has a front cowl, so the side indicators are a little lower down. Like the Speed 400, there will only be one seat. Compared to the Speed 400, the motorcycle’s road presence will be greater. Triumph Thruxton 400 Bike Features

A bashplate, clip-on handlebars, and a half-fairing are just a few of the new design features included with the Thruxton 400. The engine, suspension, and chassis of the bike ought to be identical to those of the other Speed 400. To recap, the bikes are powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with 37.5Nm and 39.5 bhp. It is paired with a gearbox with six speeds.

Engine

The 398.15cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that powers the Speed 400 will be used in the Thruxton 400. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox and produces 40 PS at 8000 rpm and 37.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. Like the Speed 400, a slip-and-assist clutch and ride-by-wire throttle are expected on the bike.

With the Speed400, this engine gets 29.8 kmpl, and it could get similar numbers here as well. The bike is expected to have a torque-assist clutch, a USB-C charging port, and a semi-digital instrument console with a scroll button on the handlebar that is easy to use to make riding more comfortable.

Suspension

A 43mm inverted front fork and a gas-charged preload-adjustable rear monoshock make up the suspension system. A 300mm front disc with a radial caliper and a 230mm rear disc, similar to the Speed 400, perform the braking duties.

To begin, the fuel tank, bar-end mirrors, 17-inch wheels on both ends, round LED headlamp, and upswept exhaust are all features that the Thruxton 400 will share with the Speed 400.
