The Single Motor model with rear-wheel drive isn’t as fast, but it drove well in the city we drove through. On 19-inch wheels, both models provided a firm ride, but the EX30’s chassis feels balanced and agile on twisty roads. A Cross Country model with a more rugged appearance and higher ground clearance may appear later in the lineup. The fact that Volvo chose to install a soundbar across the base of the dashboard rather than individual speakers throughout the vehicle makes the EX30’s stereo system unique.
